Augusto´s Hotéis presents the explanatory summary of its protocols for the adequacy of processes, food, hygiene and cleaning to combat COVID-19. Add to this protocol, the one elaborated by ANVISA-RJ.

TRAINING

Hotel employees were trained to know all aspects of contamination, to stay healthy and to work safely in the handling of their Hotel equipment and objects. Frequent hand washing with soap and water or 70% gel alcohol. Frequency in checking cleaning through reports, in order to keep everyone safe inside the Hotel. They are also trained to maintain social distance with their co-workers and guests. The entire team is aware of the importance that at a time like this hygiene is health, for employees and guests.

PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (PPE)

PPE was added for the work of our employees to increase security against the virus, with masks, face protectors, caps, 30% apron, long gloves, boots and the frequent washing of uniforms.

CLEANING PRODUCTS

The hotels use certified chemicals from companies recognized in the market. Cleaning products such as 70% alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, are part of the cleaning of all environments, floors, furniture and other contact areas. In the apartments, care was taken with special care in cleaning objects such as door handles, latches, drawers, tap, remote control, table, telephone, glasses, etc.

CIRCULATION IN PUBLIC AREAS

The hotels demarcated their areas in order to keep the distance between everyone, guests and employees, as for example, the signs for circulation in public environments, maximum capacity in the limited restaurant and in the traffic inside the elevators. We also have sanitary entrance rugs and we don't use towels and cloth napkins in the restaurant, just washable placemats and paper napkins.

SANITIZATION OF HANDS

In addition to all the Hotel's locations having bathrooms equipped with sinks with water, soap and paper towels, public areas such as the lobby, restaurant, leisure area, elevators, also have 70% gel alcohol.

HOTEL ENTRY

All temperatures will be checked using a non-contact infrared thermometer at the entrance of the Hotel. For security reasons, guests with symptoms of COVID-19 will not be accepted at check-in. These guests will be guided and helped to look for the city's health system. The same will happen with any member of the work team.

POOL AND GYM

For the use of the Hotel's swimming pool and gym, prior proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory.
